Rabi al-Thani 1, 1440 will be Sunday, December 9th, 2018
The Chicago Hilal Committee did not receive any reports of the moon being sighted on Friday, December 7th (29th of Rabi al-Awwal, 1440). As such, Rabi al-Awwal will complete its cycle of 30 days and Rabi al-Thani will be on Sunday, December 9th, 2018.
The Chicago Hilal Committee will meet next month on Sunday, January 6, 2019 (Rabi al-Thani 29, 1440) to determine the start of Jumada al-Awwal, 1440, insha’Allah.
