Jumaada al-Thani 1, 1442 will be Friday, January 15, 2021. The Chicago Hilal Committee did not receive any reports of the moon being sighted on January 13 (Jumaada al-Ūla 29, 1442).
As such, Jumaada al-Ūla will complete it’s cycle of 30 days and the 1st of Jumaada al-Thani will be on Friday, January 15, 2021.
The Chicago Hilal Committee will meet next month on Friday, February 12 (Jumaada al-Thani 29, 1442) to determine the start of Rajab, 1442, insha’Allah.
