Rabi al-Awwal 1st will be Monday August 25th. The moon was not sighted by our contacts throughout North America, therefore Safar will complete its cycle of 30 days and Rabi al-Awwal 1447 will begin after Maghrib on Sunday August 24th, inshaAllah.
The Chicago Hilal Committee will reconvene on September 22nd, 2025 to determine the start of Rabi al-Thani 1447.
