Consequently, Dhul-Qadah will finish with 29 days, and Dhul-Hijjah begins at Maghrib on Thursday, October 27, 2011. The 1st of Dhul-Hijjah is Friday, October 28, 2011.

There have been no sighting reports from the east coast and midwest due to cloudy weather.
The Chicago Hilal Committee is meeting today, October 27, 2011 (Dhul-Qadah 29, 1432) to determine the start of Dhul-Hijjah. Dhul Hijjah 10, 1432 (Eid-ul-Adha) will be on either Sunday, November 6th or Monday, November 7th.
