Based on deliberations that confirmed moon sighting, Dhul-Hijjah ended with 29 days and Muharram began on Wednesday, the 9th of January at Maghrib (sunset). Thus, the Chicago Hilal Team would like to welcome the month of Muharram. There were confirmed sighting reports in Teaneck, NJ, Atlanta, GA and Orlando, FL.
