Meeting is in session. We are currently reaching out to our contacts in the east coast. No positive sightings have been reported. Next update will occur after sunset in the midwest around 8:30pm CDT

The Chicago Hilal Committee will meet this evening at 7pm CDT (Ramadan 29th) to determine the start of Shawwal. We will provide periodic updates throughout the night as we check in with our representatives throughout the US
